Jikabuki Performance

What is Jikabuki?

Kabuki (歌舞伎) is a classical Japanese dance-drama. Jikabuki (Ji-kabuki) is amateur style of drama based on Kabuki which is performed in country towns and villages.
Gifu along with Kanagawa and Hyogo Prefectures makes up what is known as the \”Big Three\” Jikabuki regions. Gifu prefecture has 30 Jikabuki preservation organizations including Mino Kabuki Preservation Society of Aioiza.

Performance

\”Nagatsuki Performance\” is held on the last Saturday of September every year. Admission free.
